About me

I believe that being architects can not be a choice. It turns out, because we are born architects. When you become aware of who and what you are, you have to face the future with the awareness of which responsibility you have in your hands. The architect is a multifaceted and eclectic person, that makes of every experience a background; from the humanities to the sciences, the architect MUST be curious and open to learn, in this way every project has a deep and concrete meaning.

On these certainties I have undertaken my training.

After receiving the Diploma at the "Talete high school" in Rome  (experimental course PNI), I decided to enroll in the Faculty of Architecture "Valle Giulia" at La Sapienza in Rome, where I attended the first three years of the Degree of Science in Architecture EU. On 2013 I decided to leave for the Erasmus experience, convinced that the confrontation with other cultures was necessary for my professional growth. My destination was Munich, where I spent the next two years, literally knocking down all the beliefs that had crept into me after studying alongside professors lovers of the Roman School as, for example, Franco Purini. As I think is common to every architect, I started again questioned myself, trying to take the best of German technique culture, and at the same time looking to join it with my "Italian way" to design. This led to even more curiosity and I, as usual,  wanted to bring it to the extreme. That is how, in the summer of 2014, I decided to leave the country with the Design Studio of prof. H. Kaufmann (that I had attended in my tenure at TUM of Munich): destination Tanzania.

At Kibwigwa we built a Mensa for the students of that village, and thanks to this experience my life changed again. I understood what the architecture really is: it is aesthetic, theater, charm as well as experimentation, technology, sustainability, but above of all I believe that architecture is a social representation.  Through the architecture we have the "power" of being able to change the course of people's lives. If you grow up in a place full of good architecture, you will live happy and with the sense of beauty. Give opportunities to those who still live in conditions of underdevelopment to enjoy a healthy life and, at the same time, to allow them to have a future, has become for me the goal of my future profession.

Come back to my life, after this wonderful experience, I started challenging myself, trying to improve on other architecture's fields that have always been passionated me: design, landscape, interior design and social spaces. Two great projects have emerged from this will: the first one is the LETs group, a group born from the complicity in friendship and design with my colleague Gianrmarco Lucarini, the second is the CUT group, born from me and my colleague Giulia Chen desire to make architecture fashion by means of bijoux items.

The LETs group has immediately found fertile ground in the design and, in May 2017, was awarded third place in the contest "Un Giardino in Comune" issued by the Municipality of Pomezia (Italy).

So far, what I see in my future is a career based on passion, the desire to do and on the belief that, through architecture, a better world is possible.
